When a Tie is Worth It
A late Tom Brady interception sealed the deal for the Rockets, as their 40-40 tie with the Thunderbirds gave them the division title. Despite a subpar effort from their receivers, who have really struggled while Dwayne Bowe is on suspension, the team has done just enough to hold off the late-charging Longhorns for their first playoff appearance under Jim Tressel. With a first-round bye still a possibility, the Rockets will play their normal starters in the season finale against the Longhorns next week.
