Week 11 Recap
The playoffs are almost here. The Clowns, Storm, and Longhorns are already in, but there are 5 teams left fighting it out for the final 3 spots. Only 2 of the Sharks, Mustangs, and Outlaws can make it from the Black Conference. And in the White Conference, the Isotopes and Predators will fight it out next week on Monday night for the division lead.

The New England Thunderbirds announced the firing of Assistant Director of Player Personnel, Ron Jaworski on Saturday. He will be replaced immediately by the team’s current Offensive Coordinator, Steve Grogan. Grogan will serve as the Offensive Coordinator for week 5’s game, but will then be replaced by Doug Flutie. The team is also bringing in a new Wide Receivers Coach by replacing James Lofton with the recently retired Troy Brown.

The New England Thunderbirds agreed to a one year deal with veteran quarterback Chad Pennington on Saturday evening. The move comes after the team lost star quarterback Tom Brady for the season after he suffered a torn ACL and MCL in week 1.
