Maniak Monthly All-Stars 2018

The offensive explosion created many worthy candidates for this year’s all-star team, with 2nd-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the way.  His season ranks 3rd in the last decade for MFL QBs, only behind Peyton Manning’s record performance in 2013 and Aaron Rodgers in 2011.  We also saw a rookie make the all-stars for a 2nd straight season, as Vegas’ Saquon Barkley showed why expectations were so high for him as the league’s top pick in the last draft, garnering 2nd team honors.

Here are the 2018 all-stars:

1st Team

2nd Team

QB: Philip Rivers, New Orleans

RB: Saquon Barkley, Las Vegas

WR: Davante Adams, Lincoln

WR: DeAndre Hopkins, New Orleans

Flex: Melvin Gordon, New Orleans

Flex: James Conner, Springfield

TE: Zach Ertz, Tampa Bay/New Orleans

K: Wil Lutz, Houston
